Species: Lycanthrope (unclear if by birth or infection)
Job/Rank: Currently a high-ranking member of Millennium and the Major's lapdog adjunct/bodyguard, formerly a Hauptsturmführer in the Waffen-SS.
Weapons: twin long-barreled Mausers, combat knife
Powers/Abilities: He's a shapeshifter in the truest sense of the word, at least when it comes to anything vaguely lupine (wolfman, "feral" human, monstrous canine, and various fluid stages in between). The traditional bane of silver applies, yet evidence for lunar constraints/dependencies is lacking (there never appears to be anything BUT a full moon in the Hellsing mangaverse). He possesses the usual gifts his kind inherit (inhuman speed, agility, and strength), yet is also just a tough/robust guy (e.g. what should have been mortal is only a flesh wound), with some regenerative abilities and a high pain tolerance.
Important Note: The Captain appears to be speech-impaired (as in canonically, he has never spoken). However, the cause of this muteness (voluntary, physical/mental injury or defect, etc.) is unknown. And don't call him "Hans", "Günsche", or "Hans Günsche" ... I would hate to make see him go all "Fenrir" on your ass ;)
Personality: He has one?! For the Captain, these traits are pretty much marked by a decided lack there of. Stoically automatous, he could be a hardened solider, an unfeeling monster, or both. If the Captain does harbor personal opinions, doubts, or even emotion ... he keeps them under his cap (at least until death is imminent) :P |

Basic: Began game-play on 12/11/2007 with him transported to the City moments before his demise in Wollfang 2 (Chapter 87). Enraged, delirious, and suffering from acute argyria, he rampaged until the Major forced him to heel. The Captain then essentially settled back into the role he was accustomed to. However, the werewolf is building some relationships with the City's wolfish, like Cheza and Toboe.
